Movement is the epicenter of our work. Approximately 80% of American adults and teens do not meet the recommended weekly guidelines of at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity and two days of muscle-strengthening exercises per week (according to the CDC).
Only 24% of adults meet these guidelines. The result? Increases in mortality and huge increases healthcare costs ($117 billion annually).
Any kind of movement counts towards physical activity, but the trifecta is aerobic, strength, and mobility. Ideally you’re getting at least 20-30 minutes of aerobic activity daily and two days of strength training; that’s about 5 days per week of movement.
At the Studio, we pride ourselves in offering a range of classes throughout our 7-day/week schedule, all beginner-friendly, that meet these daily movement recommendations. This month we’re celebrating movement with our LFG Studio Challenge AND the Positive Tracks EPIC Sweatfest 2026! Find more details on that below.
In Kinstretch and other classes this month, our FRC focus is Full Body. We’re checking in with all those joints, to keep them moving smooth like buttah. Have you tried the Morning Mobility Routine? It hits all the joints with a little love and takes just 15 minutes. Give it a go!
March is Women’s History Month with International Women’s Day on March 8th. Curious about the history of women’s suffrage and where we are today? We were too, so we compiled some important dates to put things into perspective.
CORE VALUE: INCLUSIVITY
Inclusivity is one of our 5 Core Values: Continually striving to provide a safe and accessible space for all students; intentionally engaging with, and seeking out opportunities to learn from diverse partners.
Walking into a fitness or yoga class for the first time can be intimidating. We get it! And we’ve all been there. That’s why our classes are created to be beginner-friendly and our teachers & staff are looking out for you. It’s our goal to get you moving, keep you going, and make it fun!
FRC FOCUS: FULL BODY

Full Body, baby! It’s all connected and movement flows from one joint to the next when your joints have the capacity to do what your brain is asking. How do we get and maintain that capacity? Controlled, deliberate rotations in the joint, otherwise known as CARs. The Morning Mobility Routine has CARs for all your major joints. It’s one of our favorite ways to accomplish full body mobility AND you can do it anywhere, anytime!
Our FRC Library is chock full of joint mobility videos! Find your favorites here.
