The Upper Valley is a pretty darn special place. IYKYK. While we may not have the venues and night life you’d find in a city, there is one place where you can experience that urban vibe in a rural setting: The Studio. We’re your one-stop shop for community fitness and well-being.
With our range of beginner-friendly classes led by experienced, certified instructors, we’ve got everything you need to stay active and healthy- including a kick ass community of people.
There are 3 legs to our well-being stool- fitness, yoga, and mobility- and they all work together. Our schedule is programmed so you can choose a convenient time slot and alternate days of fitness with days of yoga and mobility. By alternating these workouts, you’re training for the long-haul. With this approach you’ll be building strength and cardiovascular fitness, and you will also recover more quickly, reduce fatigue and burnout, fine-tune your proprioception and bodily awareness. Your Studio Membership includes all of these classes- take advantage of them! And while you are here take some time to get to know your fellow Studio-goers. Within our community you’ll find friendship, kindness, motivation, and accountability! Can’t make it to the Studio on a regular basis? Utilize our On Demand Library which contains recorded classes from wherever you may find yourself.
New Classes
We’ve added Inferno Sculpt to the schedule! You’ll find it on Tuesdays at noon (45m) and a 60 minute class on Fridays at 9am. Come try this invigorating, fun class that incorporates yoga, weights, and cardio.
Also on the schedule this month, we’ve added Inferno Weights at noon on Thursdays and a Teen HIIT Series, Wednesday’s 3:30-4:15pm from Feb 5- March 12. Teen Series is $15 pop in, teens must have their own account.
FRC Focus: Knees, Ankles & Toes
Got a bum knee or wonky ankle? Worried about your joints as age, increase your weights, or go high impact? Kinstretch can help with all these things. Get yourself to Kinstretch to better understand how important this class is! Learn how to use science-backed exercises at home, in class, and as a warm up or cool down for classes, and feel even better in your body! Take a peek at the video to get a feel for some of the work we do in class….(psst…it’s not just a stretching class – it’s a strength training class).
We have tons of videos of knee, ankles and even toe CARS (controlled articular rotations) on our Instagram page as well as in our On Demand Library. These easy exercises improve mobility, blood-flow, proprioception, balance and even neurological connection. So get going and stay rock steady in your whole body!
