What’s up with these bridges we do at the beginning of every IHP class?
We use glute bridges as a way to warm up for the rest of the class. Spending the majority of the day on our caboose can wreak some serious havoc on our bodies. The backside is underused and overstretched while the front gets shorter and weaker. This leads to the position of our pelvis and spine changing and creates pain and dysfunction through the rest of the body, usually resulting in chronic back pain.
Activating your glutes helps get you ready for a more effective class and a better feeling body overall. Take some time to work through the alignment of these bad boys and get the most out of each and every class.
