The Studio Yoga Classes

Mobility, longevity, resilience, healing and better health? Yes, please. Let’s talk about yoga! Our yoga classes offer a unique experience, shaped by our collective 30+ years of teaching and passion for continuous learning. We don’t adhere to a single guru, method, or style; instead, we’ve evolved, embracing the diverse experiences that have brought us to where we are today. With four different yoga classes on the schedule, there’s something for everyone!

We began as a Bikram yoga studio, where we were deeply committed to that community and its leaders, believing there was one way to teach and practice yoga. Many valuable lessons were learned, for which we are grateful. However, we are even more thankful that we choose to move past the fear-mongering, rigidity, and cult-like aspects.
Today our yoga classes reflect our passion for fun and playful movement patterns that challenge proprioception and balance. We focus on intelligent mobility work, paired with feel-good stretching. Each class is designed with a physical focus – hips, knees, ankles, scapula mobility, etc. combined with therapeutic breathing exercises and plenty of nourishing repetition for the nervous system.

OHY– The OG, our first yoga class taught here at the Studio. Set sequence of postures so you can get familiar and gain confidence through each practice.

The Yoga– Our signature class, it combines yoga asana with functional movement. 

Yin– Long holds, very much a work “in”. Getting quiet so you can tune in. When pain isn’t present but mild discomfort is, can you sit with it and observe your own reactions?

Flow– Fun, athletic sequencing to fully occupy your mind while you move and breath.
